Frequent Questions

How long will it take to complete my program?

Ross offers several programs in an accelerated learning format that vary in the length of time required for completion. Certificate programs such as Medical Assistant and Dental Assistant range from 30-36 weeks dependent upon your chosen shift for attending class. Ross College Online offers accelerated programs in an entirely online format ranging from 55 weeks to 76 weeks.

How much does it cost?

The total cost of each program can be found in the 2022-2023 catalog on pages 38-40. The total cost is comprised of tuition for the program (includes a laptop, books, fees, and materials) and a technology fee (includes access to Ross’ IT help desk and the online learning platform). Online programs and the Practical Nursing program do not include a laptop in tuition but offer an optional technology kit for an additional fee, which provides similar equipment.

Is financial aid available?

Because Ross is institutionally accredited, we are able to offer Title IV funding to students who qualify. We provide students with dedicated support through our skilled financial aid experts who begin working with you right after enrollment to explore your options.

Will I need a computer?

Ross strives to provide students with the tools needed for success in their given program of choice. Programs offered in a residential or hybrid format through one of our ground locations include the cost of a laptop in the total cost of tuition. Other programs offer a technology kit option for an additional fee, which provides students with the materials necessary for distance learning.

Will I need to attend in person?

Ross offers three delivery method options for students: residential (attending class on campus for each scheduled class day), hybrid (attending campus for only the clinic portion of the curriculum), and online (programs are delivered in a completely online format.) Delivery method availability varies by program and by campus. Be sure to ask your admissions representative about this during the enrollment process!
